With our men's team currently being participants in the second Belgian Division and our players gearing up for the Namur Knights as well as the Oupeye Foxes, competitive Lacrosse at Sport Park West in Maastricht were not in sight this semester. Let's change that we thought, and hosted "Winterlax" at the 30th of November, a day with clinics and scrimmages for men, women and youth players.
With 36 participants, a great sunny day, motivated players and coaches the day turned out to be a full success. New drills were learned and fundamentals further refined. The small field scrimmages offered plenty of playing time for everyone. At the end of the day th heavy legs and tired bodies were rewarded with pizza and hydrating beverages.
